After encountering Jesus, my life off course totally changed.
One of the first things i felt in my heart was a certain desire.., run with Jesus.
And so i did…

Since that day it was no longer i who live, but Christ who lives within me.
So running with Jesus was/is my only desire.
All of Him, and none of me…

A lot of people love to see people fall/fall in love with their Creator.
They love to see people run with Jesus… for a while…

But when the running after two years is not slowing down.., people start to question us why?

I think it’s funny when people tell me and my husband to slow down.
They call us young dogs who run with Jesus (for now).
They warn us to slow down because we might get worn out.

The reason why i think it’s funny when people “warn” us is because it reminds me that they just can’t keep up.
It’s not a game, not a competition.
It’s an invitation we say yes to every single day.
If you want to grow, then run along with us… more importantly run with Jesus!

People who’ve never been disabled or lame… maybe have no idea what i’m going to tell right now.
But when i was very young, i believe i was at the age of six or seven… i had a blood disease called Sepsis. This disease made sure my body would shut down. I couldn’t walk for a certain amount of time!
But after a few weeks in the hospital and all the people that were praying for me i started to feel better.
Jesus was healing my body!
One day the nurses asked me to try to walk a little.
And so i did… i started to walk better day by day until my body was totally restored.
The next thing i did was… RUN!!!
That’s right… run… run like a crazy person!
I was so happy that i could walk again, that i decided to run!
That’s what happy does!

Being a born again Christian to me.., feels exactly the same way!
Free from me, growing into Christ.
That’s what running with Jesus is to me.

It’s no longer i who live, but Christ who lives within me!

The running doesn’t need to stop!

‘So i run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing.’
1 Corinthians 9:26 NLT

‘When you walk, you won’t be held back; when you run, you won’t stumble.’
Proverbs 4:12 NLT

‘But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. [Heb. 12:1-3.]’ Isaiah 40:31 AMP

So to everyone who is running with Him, keep going!
If you are being warned, people telling you to be careful… keep running!
Don’t look back!
Keep moving forward!

And to everyone who keeps warning everyone to be careful who is running… ask yourself this… “why am i not?”
Start walking towards Him and He will come running to you.
